Become a Trustee

Become a Trustee

Carers are children, young people and adults who care, unpaid, for a family member or friend due to illness, disability, mental health or substance misuse issues

Carers are disadvantaged as a result of their caring responsibilities. At North Tyneside Carers’ Centre, we deliver a wide range of interventions to help carers overcome these disadvantages and maintain their health and wellbeing.

We are excited to be commencing our new 5 year strategic cycle and have clear priorities and goals to improve the lives of carers in North Tyneside.  We want to hear from anyone interested in becoming a trustee, who has the skills and experience to help us deliver our priorities including: lived experience of caring; marketing and communications or adult social care experience.

As part of our board you will offer your unique skill set to help drive the delivery of our strategic plan, as well as helping us achieve our mission ‘To improve the quality of life of carers in North Tyneside.’

This is a vital role, helping ensure we can continue our support for the increasing number of carers accessing our services.
