Big thank you to all the carers, volunteers, speakers and staff who made Carers Rights Day a memorable success. It was the biggest turn out since lockdown and everybody felt energised by being together again. The speakers on the day told us about GPs and carers, the council’s latest news and keeping warm this winter.

A special thank you to Gaynor and Morrisons who donated the lunches on the day. Thank you to everyone who donated raffle prizes.

The path to getting a fair deal for carers is going to be a long one but we make progress every time we come together and share our experiences and news.
