Upcycling Furniture Course

Would you like to acquire some new skills? Learn how to transform an old piece of furniture into a stylish addition to your home?

If you already have a piece of furniture you’d like to work on, feel free to bring it along or we can provide the item of furniture for you to keep. The course is been run with BUILDNE. Complete beginners welcome.

• Choose and prepare a piece for recycling
• Consider interior design and colour
• Paint finishes and techniques
• Repair and renewal of the new piece
• Present your finished piece

After the course: We’ll give you advice and guidance about how you can learn more and use your new skills in everyday life.

Venue: The Scout Hut, 31-35 Norfolk Street, North Shields, NE30 1NQ.

Start date: Thursday 20 April.

Times: 10am – 1pm (On the first week you will need to attend an enrolment session from 9am.)

Course length: Every Thursday for 6 weeks.
